18th Training on Public Private Partnership

Corporate Desk : The eighteenth Training Program on Public Private Partnership (PPP) of the Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) was held on 23-25 May 2023 at Palm View Restaurant, Army Golf Club, Airport Road, Dhaka-1206. A large number of participants participated in the training program from both private sector and public sector. The training program consists of 13 modules: Overview of PPP, PPP Options, PPP Framework of Bangladesh, Public Private Partnership (PPP): Contracting Structure, different modes, issues & challenges, PPP and Role of Transaction Advisor, Govt. Support to PPP Projects, PPP Project Risk Analysis for Investors, Lenders, and Governments, PPP Project Finance, PPP Agreement Management at the Implementing Agency, Case Study 1- Multi Utility Service Provider at Dhaka & Chittagong EPZ - An Overview from PPP Perspective, PPP in Electricity Value Chain and Case Study 2-Haripur 360 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant.

IIFC is a government owned well-known consulting company in Bangladesh under Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance which specializes in public private partnership (PPP), public procurement, research, survey and feasibility studies, financial and economic analysis, impact assessment, training and capacity building, institutional reforms, policy and advocacy. IIFC works internationally. It was incorporated in 1999 as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act 1994.
